National Baking Week - Yay!!

National Baking Week is in full flow! Here at The BMCC the latest item on the menu is Chocolate and Hazelnut cupcakes. Not great for the waistline but hey....who cares right? They taste FABULOUS!! Don't you just love baking for the sake of it?! Emma xx

Romance is in the air at The BMCC!!

Happy Monday Everyone!

As ever it has been a busy week here at The BMCC! Our latest project started with a plea from a damsel in distress looking for a beautiful wedding cake with only 4 days notice!!
Her original cake designer had let her down so we were only too happy to help!
Check out our creation; a classic, elegant 2-tier vanilla sponge cake with delicious, silky vanilla buttercream.
Come delivery day our damsel was delighted with her cake and all distress evaporated away!! We LOVE happy endings!!

We Love Cupcakes!

Morning All! It has been cupcaketastic here at the BMCC this week! Lots of lovely chocolate and vanilla and strawberry cheesecake cupcakes have been coming out of the oven....and we just can't get enough of them!! Check out the pics and I guarantee you'll want to get baking! Emma xx

Last week's project

This has got to be one of our favourite cakes to date. Rich chocolate mud cake filled with silky vanilla buttercream. Delicious!
The mermaid is completely hand made from sugarpaste. This was for a little girl's 8th birthday and she had designed the mermaid herself! I think she was very happy with the result. Enjoy!
